Also missing a cover plate just beneath the steering wheel on hood housing. steve I have a 1955 Super 55 that has been in family for along time.I am going to start to restore and need the lid on left foot tool compartment and the front hood emblem.Someday I will park both under the tree and drink tea. Me and the Oliver bush hog the field three times a year. As I look through these old tractor pictures I am amazed at how many massey tractors were built. I have a early 60 s model Ford 2000 Super Dexta for sale.Tractor has been parked for a couple years and not used.Once done, the tractor should really be nice and show very well.I have an Oliver 1800 diesel that is in pretty good condition. I have tried to adjust the PTO clutch without any success.Being young and inexperienced at that time I inadvertently removed the radiator cap in above 40 Celsius whilst harvesting. On the second property we just used it as a hack as we had much bigger tractors there. Have an Oliver 1900, series B 4 wheel drive diesel, just rebuilt after a forest fire, larger tires on the front than the one in this picture.
A number of trucks have also been renovated and in working order.
The tractor has a blown out rear tire and motor is locked; tractor was running when it was parked. If anyone is travelling to Western Australia I recommend that they visit the Dardanup Heritage Park south of Perth.
It would make a excellent tractor to restore or a parts tractor. There are many types of tractors from Ransomes up to D8s and many in between.
It was the AC's largest wheel tractor at that time, almost 1500 pounds heavier than the D21 Series II. I purchased my own last summer and it is in excellent running condition. 13 inch wide, so if anyone has a single or a pair let me know.
I just bought a GVI diesel, the batteries are missing, judging from the cables it seems there were two batteries on the right and one on the left, is that correct and are they 6 or 12 volt thanks Lyle.. We are going on a 50 mile cruise, benefits local charities and high schools in Ripon, WI this coming Saturday 24 August so will hopefully have a good ride.
